Ever a day goes by and there would seem to be a new approach to service management emerge. We already have the likes of ITIL® and ISO/IEC 20000, now joined by approaches such as DevOps, SIAM®, VeriSM™, Agile etc
But which approach is the best?
The answer probably lies in the context and circumstance of your organisation, and more truthfully than not, you will probably need to take an integrated approach to service management where you adapt and adopt multiple practices.
There are several references available on integrating different service management approaches. The best advice is to do your research and consider your options before taking the plunge.
